If 3DS console price down, the r4 3ds card may also price down. This will largely beat the market.
I highly doubt Sony will announce a price drop before the PSV releases. Even after launch it seems unlikely to happen within the first year or two. They may already be taking a loss on each unit sold. The thing just seems too powerful and expensive for this to happen any time soon. - my 2 cents.
It must have been a real tough decision to take the price down that much for the 3DS. For that price I'm really considering buy it and get R4 along with it too. It's kinda actually affordable now. I remember my brother having the original DS when it came out and some thing that let you download the games. I was like :wow::wow: "How did you do that" since I was little and knew nothing about scenes and stuff. And the same thing with his original PSP. He bought a 'Pandora's battery' off Ebay and like magic again he can play games without the disks :wow: Back then he bought a 2gb memory stick on sale for $20 at Circuit City when it was closing down. Back then TWO GB was EXPENSIVE!!
Sorry about my little story telling:p
Oh, I just noticed in the title, are you talking about PSP or PS Vita? For PSP its already at the end of its life cycle so expect the pricing to go down alot especially when PS VIta comes out. And for the Vita, I think the pricing is a bit too high and now it has some major competition against the 3DS, and somewhat iPod Touch since the lower memory one will be ~$200. If $ony keeps the price at its current stand point then they better put 512mb or more in that hoe, wither then the rumored 256mb.
Lets see what Sony's official pricing will be this Fall...:-pray:
