Neo Fix XIII on V14 question
Neo Fix XIII on V14 question –
03-05-2006,02:22 PM
Sorry for my bad English
Hi, I'm new here and I have a few questions.
I have a Neo Fix XIII like the pic below.
http://www.hotbit.nl/images/mods/PS2...x3-diagram.jpg
But it won't fit and I don't know how to install it on a V14.
So my questions are:
1. Is it necessary for a V14 to install a laser fix?
2. Does someone know how to instal this fix on a V14?
3. How long will the ps2 laser survive without the laser fix?
4. And if this fix won't work or fit on a V14, which of the following fixes can I take then?
The Neo Fix XIII. Looks different than the fix I have.
http://www.gamestar.nl/product_info....roducts_id=521
Or the Neo fix XIV.
http://www.gamestar.nl/product_info....roducts_id=658
Which one would be better?
PS2 specs:
Modded with a Matrix Infinity Green Dot.
Model no: SCPH-75004 PAL.
So can someone please help me.
Thanks.

lot's of sites try to make more sales by telling people that laser fix is needed for extra safty. that's totally miss leading! now when i tell my customers the truth that no laser fix is needed for v13 and upwards, some of them just don't believe. what they believed is modchip causes laser burn out and installer must install a proper laser fix, if you tell them the truth some of them think you are no good and try to rip them off. for **** sake, just install the fix !
