More Read Disc Errors –

Hello there.I got a slim ps2 (no idea what version) and matrix infinity mod chip installed (not by me and i dont know how).
The last few days i've been having problems with my ps2, but only on backed up/copied games.
After trying to play in a dual layer dvd (rogue galaxy), the laser lenses didnt read the disc that well, so i followed instructions about cleaning the lense with a thin cotton button stick and very little alcohol on the tip.
After doing that i tried PES6 (backed up, not original) and the ps read it just fine and even the starting video without a single error (it used to have some audio/video errors before the cleaning and not playing normally), and played a whole match to check it out.Worked perfect.
But when i pressed power off, and put the dual layer disc again to play, it gave me the red error "put an original ps or ps2 disc" screen.
After that whatever back up/copied game i put on, it shows me the red error screen and wont start.Whenever i put on an original game/movie/audio cd it plays perfectly.
So im asking suggestion on whether i did something wrong while cleaning the lense, or moved something by mistake close to the lense and vital to the modchip.
All the options on the matrix infinity (not updated it wont read the copied firmware update cd) are turned on the 1st option is on color and the boot is on auto.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

i think your MI is a clone. and when u change some settings, the chip will dead.

im really sure the chip is dead, but, try opening your PS2 and see if some cable loose
or try update the MI firmware to the newest. only original MI can be updated
