Memory Card in slot 1 doesnt working

As in title, when inserted in port 2 all is ok. Is there a way to fix it or do i need to change the all port thing (this board with pad,mc slots)?
I checked and all looks(cable like new) fine outside and on board

You probably just have smashed flat the pins that contact the MC in the MC port.

Read below for a tutorial on how to fix bent MC port pins.

It didnt work for me

So i need new ports - is there a difference between ports in 3900x and 5000x? 3900x has 3 holes and i dont know how many has 5000x (i have it also but with sony warranty sticker, which i dont want to remove

As state here http://www.richspsxparts.com/controlport.html v4-v7 has 3 holes but how about v8-v11 or even slims??I am asking because i will not pay ~20$ (and it isnt avaible in Poland) just for ports when i can have ps2 with broken laser for 15$.

Is there any fuse on MB responsible for memory card port 1 or will it be broken cable or port?

Not sure if the fuse is out, since that would make no controllers or MCs work.
You should make sure if the cable between the two boards is correctly seated all the way in, and the clip latched.
I believe the controller port and cable can be used from v4 to v10, but am not sure whether the controller port screw holes will exactly line up. That can easily be fixed with a drill though.

I just bought 50004 and will try to swap ports and check will it will work

Or maybe i can take the whole drive from 39003 and put in in 50004 (which has dead laser)?

Ok so this port from 50004 also have 3 holes

But it has also something on it back(capacitor i think)

Dont know way/what for but i dont care as long as it is working

Also i checked this old ports in 50004 and it isnt working. I also bought another port, so i will fix this third ps2 attach it to NA and i will have another ps2 for voyage
