memory card not detected

so i have these old psx memory cards that i haven't touched in 10 years or so and all of them work except for the 2 nyko brands, one of them sometimes works and the ps2 actually reads it as a pocketstation lol but the other one just won't read no matter what i do. i'm really curious whats on that memory card.

any way to get it reading or should i just give up and say goodbye to my saved youth?

That happened to me, my card port was faulty. Fixed after replacement.

but it reads 5 other memory cards fine with the exception of the other nyko memory card which i have to re insert a couple of times to get it to work

Have you tried using MC Annihilator (FMCB and 128mb Mem Card a success!) from ffgriever? It has fixed many cards that couldn't be fixed by other MC format tools.

Many of psx cards, PS2 not reading. Maybe it's fault of controler? Anyway, it's normal for PSX cards. Even originals are sometimes not recognizing.

hah.. ok, yea that's what I get for half reading and replying to emails while at work, didn't see that he was talking about PSX cards.

Same happened to me, Some slims dont read so psx cards. My madzcats doesnt work in ps2 slim but works in a fat ps2 and psx. It can just be the card if u have a slim check it in a fat or psx.
