Hi, I've gone and broken the diode on my Matrix Infinty (Orange Spot).

Can Someone tell me what diode I can use to replace it.

    TIA

    Ian

It's a diode to lower the 3.3v to the 2.5v required by the APA75 chip core...

You can use an 1N4148 diode (small signal diode, european namming)

Cathode is the side with the strip in it ... just put the new one with the strip on the same direction (plenity of MI chip pictures on the net. that shouldn't be a problem at all)

    Good luck !
