Lenschanger help –
05-10-2006,12:44 PM
Ok so i've read through the forums.... I bought a new motherboard for my ps2 because the old one had sound problems... now i want to flash the eeprom with lenschanger so my drive will hopefully read cds. The new motherboard is the same version as my old one. I don't have a network adapter or any means of hooking my ps2 to my PC. The old motherboard will still boot cds, but has no mod chip, the new motherboard will not boot cds, but has a dms4 pro.... is there a way for me to flash the eeprom of the new motherboard with what i have? I think there is a way i can boot from cd and install to my memory card... but i don't know how..... what elf file do i burn to the cd??

davbere thinks the new motherboard was programmed with a 400R laser and i have a 400C laser.... so he suggested using lenschanger to program the eeprom of the new motherboard to a 400C... but the new motherboard won't read cds
the new motherboard does boot dvds.... but they take a while to boot...
