I don't have a Network Setup Disc for my adapter, and I don't have SOCOM or any other Online-capable games. I want to install some games from my PC, and I want to be able to stream with SMS.
How can I set up my network adapter to connect to my LAN?
Is there an ELF I can run that'll let me do it?

It sounds to me as if you are using homebrew software already, in which case you can use homebrew programs like uLaunchELF (aka: uLE) to setup the IP address etc that you want to use. SMS also has a config entry to let you edit the IPCONFIG.DAT file.

Note that the network settings folder used by Sony routines is not in any way related to the IPCONFIG.DAT used by homebrew programs. So if you do want to use commercial networking programs you'd better hope they provide internal config menus, as the homebrew stuff will not help with such games. But fortunately the HDL installers do use the homebrew settings, even though HDL itself was a commercial product.

    Best regards: dlanor

Ah, that did it. Thanks a bunch; I didn't realize the two used separate network settings.
