hey guys, after a few hours of messing with my ps2, it looks like it screws up because the ribbon cable is touching the cd and moving it upwards in the process. It's the cable that attaches the actual laser eye to the rest of the unit. I tried to fold it out of the way, but haven't had much luck. Has anyone else experienced this? Any good methods to keep the cable out of the way?

    Thanks

ive never experienced this problem before but it sounds like you just need some electrical tape and just tape it to the board or the next nearest thing out of the cds way
