    Hi!

I'm looking for a solution how to connect PSTwo to pc's monitor. I've bought an VGA box and component cable to connec PSTwo to VGA Box (becouse it has got only component input).

When i connect my PSTwo to my monitor via VGA Box the screen is "shaking". I know it is caused by the scanning mode whitch should be progressive.

If I turn on God of War II and in options change progressive scan to ON everything is OK.

Also when i run HDTV Xploder and set mode to HDTV 480p sceen it OK but i can't boot any game....

Any solution? Maybe any DIY VGA adapter can slove my problem?

    My hardware:
    PSTwo SCPH-77004
    ModBo 760 with bios v 1.93

    Best regards

Have you set your ps2 output to Component output ?
Turn on your ps2 without disk, it goes to ODSYS, select System Configuration.
    Scroll down to Component Video Out, select : Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr, press X !
(here is the step per step : turn on your ps2 without disk, on ODSYS pres : down, X, down, down, down, X, right/left, X)
3 days ago I bought component cable and installed to my ps2, I got shaking picture, then I changed to RGB again, set the component video out and WOW !!! Component cable's picture quality is awsome, much better than RGB.

Yes i have set it to pr,pb,y otherwise my ps2 doesn't give a signal on component cable. I'll try this GSM and reporter results in a minute.

    EDIT:

small success - i can play some games (i.e. The Warriors - Rockstar Games :P i recommend it) but i still can't play my main goal: GTA:San Andreas... Playstation 2 logo shows and then only black screen (and no sound);/

Some games just don't work in certain forced video modes. I've tried a few games from HDL forced to 480p and 720p for my component cables on my CRT 720P set, none have worked so far. Of course, I only used GSM to keep snes station from flickering, which it works to do. I'm trying games here and there on different video modes.

SCPH-39001 V7 GH-019, fliptop case, FMCB 1.8, 80GB HDD (SMS console) 16MB card running it all
    SCPH-39001 V7 GH-022 FMCB 1.8, 120GB HDD (Game console) 64MB card running it all
