A few questions about the installation of the fix

1. What is meant by cutting the track? Does this mean getting a Stanley knife or some sharp instrument for example and grinding the point until there is no contact between the cut points? And what is the best tool to use if this it the case?

2. What is meant when it is indicated to close a jumper? Do i just bridge together the jumper point and the point adjacent to the jumper, with solder? (e.g. JMP1 and T1).

3. Are the points that need to be soldered (e.g. T1, T2, L2, Vdc) soldered directly to the subzero chip?
