help needed for building a repairguide for most common failures

Hi i am repairing ps2/pstwo's now for about 3 years and have learned a lot by reading but also by trying

now i like to write a repair guide for my site and afcourse for this forum
i like to have lots of information of the pro's here and also like to share my info

what i like to see is the problem and afcourse the solution like :
v4 till v8 blackscreen and no eject light > fuse Ps11 and probably also the BAchip
v9/v10/v11 not reading any disks laser moving up and down like a chicken without a head (non focusing) Lachip and Probably also the Laser (check laser coils)
v4 till v11 laser light but no spin fuse Ps13

v4 till v11 laserspindle motor does not have enough power to spin the disk :
Damaged ribbonconnector (check for the silver contact points that they are not bend)

system goes on standby after turning it on Fuse ps14
Absolute no power on v12>v14 short on B,I,G to ground
Absolute no power on v12>v14 damaged powerribbon cable
Absolute no power on v12>v14 Lose power connector on motherboard (check solder points on the connector (seen lots of broken ones)
no rumble on your controller or no power on multitap >PS7

No fan movement on v4 till v12 >PS5
Blackscreen on all versions (short on bios points or anywhere on the motherboard, also possible broken fuses)

System returns to browser > Cog adjustment ,laser adjustment,Not correctly installed modchip (also happens lots of time with old ripper2 modchips when laser is not power full enough to intercept the boot cycle mostly solved with replacing the ripper for a better chip like infinity

well i break this for now but will update it also when something more come into my mind

And please give me your input to to make a Decent repair guide for all of us !

I guess you can make it into diagram form. Like
disc won't read -> are cables properly secured? ->yes -> does the disc spin?
|
no ->fix/replace cable

etc, etc
