  1. #1 Is GH-032-32 a V12 or a v13?
    ustmano Guest
I have just invested in a slim SCPH-70004 PAL PS2 with a GH-032-32 motherboard. I installed the DMS4 modchip following the V12 guidelines at dms4.com. The modchip works great!

But now to my question and pictures:
    Is GH-032-32 a V12 or a v13? And what laser fixes do I need?

Back for motherboard. Tracking coil resistors are 01D.

    Front of motherboard.
    SCHP-70004 _GH-32-32_front.bmp
    Some more facts:
The PS2 came with a PVR-802W laser. The BIOS is marked B2110A D1010U. The driver IC is marked RS2004FS 519 288.

What is the difference beetween V12 and V13?

I have read one don't need a "slimfix V4" type laserfix on the V13 to monitor the /INT line for crashes. Is this correct?
    1. Does the mechanics controller crash anymore?
    2. Or doesn't the driver IC output the killer voltage when the mechanics controller crash?
    3. Or does some new hardware design protect the laser coils from the killer voltage?

And do I need a summOne type 4k7 resistor to protect the tracking coil? On both V12.2 and V13 with 01D resistors?

Many question. I hope some of you care to answer some of them.
i have allready buy SlimFix v4 but i can't find installation diagram for GH-32-32

    HELP Me PLS!! Thanks.
