I did my first modchip install DUO 2 GT on v.4 no gap bios

    after soldering everything:

    - im not getting any signal (no video/audio).
    - eject/reset LED lights up.
    - modchip LED is off
    - disc tray buzzes before closing (Tray out -> press reset -> buzz -> tray closes)

The modchip LED is off. Does that mean that the chip isn't getting power? I soldered the 3.3V to the same spot in box 5 in the instructions:

I also used a magnifying glass and it seems that there might be a bridge on the BIOS pins. I used the desoldering braid and tried to remove some but im sure that there are still some that are stuck. What I did was I soldered the M,N,O,P wires at the back of the mobo instead of doing it on the BIOS pins. But im still not getting anywhere.

Any advice, ideas, tips or pointers from those who've experienced the same problem? I did try to search on google and on forums.

    thanks in advance

you answered it by your self the bios points need to be clean
if you have a bridge you will hace a blackscreen
also the led of the chip does not come up if you not soldered everything correct
