DMS4 SE Pro help –
02-20-2009,10:19 AM
I have a V14 GH-037-02 board that I just finished installing the DMS4 SE Pro mod chip. I finished all the soldering and I thought I ran all the lines correctly. I got the DMS4 disabled when I tried the square button on the controller. I then proceeded to get the ToxicOS flash and found that the TOXIC web site is gone. Are they out of biz?
I finally was able to find a version of the ToxicOS 1.4 somewhere and tried flashing. No matter what I do the message that I get is DMS4 hardware not installed. I checked all the soldering and it good. The only thing that puzzles me is that the "C" connection point doesn't seem to route to the DSP chip. I thought this was supposed to connect to the chip somewhere. I am not sure if this is one of the problems but I am running out of ideas.
I bought the DMS4 SE Pro from mod-chip.com so I believe I don't have a clone. I hope.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I also posted in the Modchips forum but I think this forum may be the better place to get help.
Thanks
Raj
