Yesterday I was modding my ps2. A SCPH35004, I moved the board that converts the power out side the case by adding wires and some plugs so I could switch to car power. (My final goal).

After that the ps2 worked just fine. I thought i'd clean the lense of the ps2 too so I took out the drawwer by ejecting it, turning the console off and unscrewing the lid of the disk drive and removing the two screws of the drawer.

Then I decided that I already pushed my luck enough by moving the board for the power. So I aborted the cleaing. I put back everything. Turned the ps2 back on to check if it still worked but the ps2 could not pull the drawwer back in because I put it back too wrong the drawwer hit the spindle that turns the disks. So opend the ps2 again I moved the drawwer to the right spot started the thing again and it did not work anymore.

Now when I turn on the ps2 it spins the disk 1/3 around and boots but does not detect the disk.

What could be wrong?
