Comsoft Fix Jacked a V12

Hey guys wondering if anyone can answer this for me. I have a V12 that was bought off ebay that was previously modded with a unknown chip. So I tested it and it works fine boots up and reads discs fine. I installed a crystal lite1.2 and comsoft v4. Turn it back on and the chip works fine (it boots bootmanager and the LED on the chip blinks once) and the comsoft fix appears to work because the blue led is constantly blinking. But when I put any media in it originals or backups it does not boot. Ive tried 3 different lasers with no luck and the disc spins differently with each laser. But in the end all the disc come to a stop. So I added a diode fix along with the comsoft fix and I get the same thing. I removed the Comsoft Fix and linked the trace again but still the same. And after removing all fixes and repairing the trace it still does nothing but spin oddly and stop. BTW there is red light coming from the laser and it is moving. Is there a resistor I blew somewhere? Or a fuse? I'll check the fuses right now all the PS ones but the resistors I might need help finding. If anyone knows what resistors I should look at please post a pic or something. Any help will be most appreciated

I have installed countless Comsoft V4 fixes and never had a problem like that. It sounds more like an install error where you may have damaged a trace or broke/burnt one of the focus/tracking resistors. Finding these and measuring them should have been your first plan of attach

.... should be easy for a good installer? Have a look at the old MI fix pics if you dont know what to look for.

I have installed many too with no trouble its just this one is the first to give me trouble. Is this what your talking about because Ive already checked it.

I apperciate your help spedmetal but please do not turn this into a flame war I am human and make mistakes too. Im just trying to find a answer.

Im thinking about buying a brand new laser to see what happens because the lasers i was using dont work well in my personal slim
