Broken piece on SCPH-50001 motherboard
Ok, so a friend of mine took his SCPH-50001 Date Code 3C apart and accidentally broke a small round cylindrical part off of the motherboard.
If you look at the first pic that kinda shows you where it was at on the Motherboard(inside the red err... rectangle?)
The second pic shows the area around what broke off.
The area circled in red is where the piece broke off.
The area's circled in green are what was there before(i think) and they say "GEH 10 16v" on them.
The area's circled in blue are bigger in size than the one's in green and say "h1 100 4v" on them.
So I was wanting to know if there is anything we can do to fix it(also, he threw the piece away, so i can't just solder it back on...), or where we can maybe order the piece.
Also he says that before that, it didn't get any power and that's why he took it apart. no LED's or anything at all.
And I also have a problem with my SCPH-50001/N Date Code 3C. The controllers don't vibrate. I've already tried them in a diffrerent PS2 and they work. The controller port has also already been changed(had this problem before that though) and i make sure that vibration is turned on. It's also an official Sony DualShock2 controller, but no controller will vibrate with this ps2.
Ok that's alot. Sorry for the large post!!
Any help to any of the 3 problems(broken piece, no power, and no vibration) would be greatly appreciated!
