blue light

My ps2's blue lgiht went out, it wont display anything but the green light will turn on, and go into standby (red) but neither the blue light nor cd tray work

You are going to need to probably purchase another. There are numerous online PS2 parts stores, also check the local video game stores in your area they often have dead PS2's and will let you take it for free.

I just checked, I cant visually tell, but the cable looks really crinkled. How do i get another one? and How do i replace this ribbion?

do you have a modchip ?
Maybe the PS2 blow the 3.3v fuse due to a short circuit caused by a blown modchip...
