    Hello guys,

    i've got a big Problem..

In my V7 with Gh-15 board (unmodded) was the Ba5815fm damaged.
I changed it and it works for 2 hours then it blows again and i change them again but same problem after 4-5restarts..

Has anybody a good idea for this problem and why this IC blows again and again??

I know that this Ic is a problem on the PS2 models..

    Thanks a lot..

    Mfg Smellow

i think there is one thing you need to check that's the resistance of tracking/focusing coils.

WMB88 is right that when your Bachip blows up everytime there is a big change that the failure is in the LASER

Also did you put cooling pads and the metalplate on the Bachip after that you replaced it
because running the Bachip without a cooling pad and metalplate it overheats pretty fast ,

also does the fuse also blow up everytime or did you bridge it
because when you bridge it can also kill you Bachip

some times when the BA gone and you don't replace it, it will keep blowing your laser. just be careful. also check those smd resisitors at back of the BA chip on the other side of the board. they are 4x 30k, 2x16k, 2x10k.
