    Hi! I have problem with my ps2. When its cold, game works ok. But after few minutes my ps2 hang up Sometimes when I knock in bottom of console or I lift and console is inclined - game run for few seconds and again console hang up

    I think it can bd cold solder joints. But where? Should I leave console in service which reflow everything? pls help me

    if you did some solder jobs on the unit, you could open it up again and check for connections. it's probably a loose solder job. check the connections with a multimeter continuity checker.

    I didn't solder anything. Somebody know where I can looking fof cold solder joints? Near EE and GS? Or at bottom near CXD***** ?

    See if it locks up at sys menu...Might be a bad laser, if not, you need to reflow the EE+GS
