Your opinions please

Hey guys. Not to experienced in moddin and stuff,modded a playstation but thats easy compared to PS2.
Has anybody had there PS2's serviced at freedomlives.com the companys called NEW AGE. There service seams great but sketchy about sending my PS2 to them.Any experiences or opinions would be great.
Anybody installed a PS2 No Swap Apple Chip 30001 in there PS2?
I have a USA 30001 V2. Thinking about buying the chip from
modchip-sbox.com
If anybody has any experience or opinions on that chip or website it would be greatly appreciated.
Is there really any difference between the Magic 2 and the Apple no swap chips. What they can do looks identicle,and how to boot the games for that matter?
