I have Yahoo! DSL. My PS2 is version 4 with solderless chip. My question for you all is: What is your setup with your network adapter and Yahoo's DSL? I cannot seem to figure a way to set it up. Could anyone here give a guy some ideas how to set it up?Yahoo! dsl has two connections to the PC: ethernet or USB. Is it possible for me to have a 'Y' type adaptor so it connects to the PS2 network adapter? Or maybe use my laptop with the ethernet cable and the laptop to the desktop with the wireless card. I am lost for words here. If anyone out there that has Yahoo! DSL could you give me ideas how to set it up or how you successfully set yours up to work. I greatly appreciate any ideas or suggests on what to do for this problem.

    You should get a router
    Like this
or similar. Search the web to find a good price!

You could use your notebook as a gateway but you will find it to be more hassle than its worth. If you still want to though, read up on ICS(Internet Connection Sharing) or a proxy server app.

    Good Luck

BTW, I don't think both USB and Ethernet ports on those routers work at the same time. When using one, the other is locked out. If you've been trying this, Give up!

I took the liberty of making a diagram, this is exactly what you need, it is by far the best way to go, or you could do the same setup except wireless for more $ and more headache.

btw use PATCH cable in every instance of that diagram

    Good Luck, Enjoy
