Finally the XO-2 was installed! I used the points LOD stated instead 2 Vias and now I can say they really work!

Now only the On/Off switch is left (I forgot to buy more wire for 3.3V)... I'll update this as I go into the switching.

What can I tell now from my XO battle:

    Problem:
PS2 doesn't show video, the eject and power lights turn on normal, pressing eject only flashes the led but tray doesn't come out.
    Solution:
    "C" point not connected properly

    Problem:
Everything boots but PS2DVD (Movies works)
    Solution:
    "N" point not connected properly.

I know those points cannot be taken as a rule (there can be another loosy points) but that was what happened to me.

    Greets!

"Works" means? All of the original functions are still there? Where are the alternative points?

Sorry, I forgot to say I've first XO-2 version (without new "K" point)

    I meant that this works:

    PS2 CD Orig
    PS2 CD Backup
    PS2 DVD Orig
    PS2 DVD Backup
    PS1 Orig
    PS1 Backup
    DVD Movie (no skipping)
    Gameshark

I'll post more results when I get the wires for installing the switch.

    Well, bad news...

As I suspected switching "Reset" only disallow the use of PS1 games, since the XO cannot send the "button pressed" info..

But I really thought "3.3V" would work, but it isn't If switched, then the screen remains black and the PS2 don't even boot. I was afraid this could happen, but I didn't really think it would.

Any other ideas to turn off the XO? The only other wire I can test is "SCEX" to check if original mod protected games work...

    Any idea will be appreciated!

    Greets!
