XO-2 or Apple for my V1/010 BIOS?

Anyone install either of these chips in a V1 010 BIOS system yet? I'm not even sure the Apple has made it out for resale yet. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on these 2 potential solutions for us long suffering 010 owners.

I just ordered the X0-2 and i'm waiting for it to come in ...... so we'll see ....

Neither will work on an 010 sorry to say. Messiah 2 will though.

Did you tell them that you're going to install it into a 010? There's a special XO version for 010...

Oh yes there is an 010 x02, but not apple or magic. Id just really ditch that ps2 and get a v7, but thats me.

I'm very happy with this mod, everything runs the first time (I haven't tested a DVD9 yet, I don't know where to get one) and I got no skipping in movies neither Audio CD's. It works with GameSharks and everything.

I've said this before and I'll say it again... The cyclone team should avoid battle with Messiah2 guys, many people will buy from them and no other chip. Instead, they should create a mini-mod that will remove region free and set macrovision off, so they could have lots of clients, their sells will reach not the people without mod, but every people that want their unit region free, modded or not

P.S.
If you intend to buy a XO, ask first if the chip you're buying is tested. It seems that the first XO batch which have a "K" point were bad.
