XenoPS, Modbo, H20 - don't work in v3, v4

Hi,
somebody knows which budget modchip works in v3 and v4 ??? I tried XenoPS, Modbo, Myth, H20, Matrix Infinity - and only the expensive Matrix Infinity works in v3 and v4. With other modchips i just got black screen, or the did not load backups. XenoPS is very good, too - but only works in v5 and greater.

So is there a budget modchip for v3 and v4 ??? What about ICE Chip?

put a Duo 3 in v4 ps2 recently, working good so far

H2O should have no problem with v3, v4 otherwise you have done something wrong.

i have H20 (not H20+) here, and these defenitly dont work in v3 / v4. if i replace them with Matrix Infinity - it works.

Strange Ive done H2O in V4,works perfectly...
As for duo 3 ,it devenatly works,theres one in my sig.

Hey there.
I've installed in V4 GAP twice SAINTESS Chip, than twice Modbo v2.1.

I turn on the console and BLACK SCREEN.

I haven't tryed with Infinity. I've sold the v4 without a modchip

with modbo2.1, you need to plug a control pad when boot, or you have to wait 10 seconds. santess is running ice code and it's similar to duo2 GT

i have installed countless amount of v3/v4 with H2O chip and all worked perfect.
H2O chip is running ICE code and v3/v4 are absolutely supported.

i installed octapus 3d on v4gap & worked well; modbo 760 worked as well.

like wmb88 stated, you need to install controller or it won't show you anything for about 10 sec (black screen)

Modbo v2.1 dont work in v3/v4. NH9 dont work below v9.

I haven't tried Modbo 760 yet. But i know it is very difficult to find a modchip that works in older PS2... So i alway use Matrix Infinity now in v3/v4. And XenoPS in v5-v14.
