When I compare the Magic 3.5 diagram to the original Magic 3 diagram I notice that the 5v point is spotted on a different place. I installed my chip following the Magic 3.5 diagram (i can't boot any backups, just acting like a non-modded ps2). So I suppose the 3.5 diagram is using the wrong solder point?

Same thing, they probably changed it to get it directly off the 5V regulator because it's an easier place for people to solder. I would check for other issues with your install.

What about the solder ponts G, H, D, I (bottom right on both pictures)? When I look at the 3.5 diagram I actually see 5 solderpoints and only 4 on the 3 diagram. Could it be that?

how did you apply the pressure?

did you push until you heard a 'kick' sound?

After I heard a click, I putted more pressure so I was sure that the clip would make contact with the bios chip.
