ive got two magic3 chips with two points labeled Q on the chip(one was were g is on digram) i tried to install
one with no luck it stopped at ps2 logo then went red. the logo had a grey box arond it i checked the points are all good and i went by the picture had two others check my connections all was good checked the laser it was fine this on a new v7 right out of box any ideas thanx
modchip.ca, ive got two and both are the same way i took it out and all is fine plays orignals still but i dont even know if i should try the other but they have white resistors and look like the one on china-magic except for the Q
it isn't a clone, i've installed many of them in several boards v3-7 without troubles, just use the bottom Q as the G point.
I just received my magic 3Us from Honk-Kong for China-Magic.
There are all real original magics
All 10 items have 2 Q leters but it's ok if you solder the last Q as G as shown in diagram.
