would a version 8 case fit a v9/v10 case?

i broke my v9/v10 case b4 i began modding n wanna know if i can order a v8 custom case or if i have to wait for a v9/10 case when they proliferate on teh market

It would fit but the IR reciever would be covered up. The window is in between the reset and eject button. You could modify the older case with your dremal tool with a small hole.
