Would this trade be worth it...

I have a spare XBOX that had a so so paintjob done to it. Someone has a V7 Unmodded barely used Playstation2 (or so they say barely used) and a brand new sealed DMS3 v2.0 mod chip that they would include. Basically the deal is this:

XBOX V1.0 w/ a Mod Chip
40GB HDD
All hookups
mem card
1 LED Modded s-controller

for

V7 Playstation2 w/ all hookups
1-controller
1-mem card (official sony card)
1-DMS3 V2.0 Sealed never opened
$30.00 USD via paypal.

Is this worth it?

Seems like a good deal as long as the PS2 really hasn't been used that much.

well I will be receiving it first so I can check it out. thanks, I like the ps2 for its RPGs and some other games. And the fact that I have a second XBOX kicking around not doin anything just makes me want a ps2 package for the xbox package

If the PS2 were already modded I would say sure, but its not.

JUst becasue it is a V7 doesnt mean its going to read all the medias for backups. THere are several variations of the V7 since this model was prodeuced for quite a while. If its an older one, you may be not getting what you thoguht you bargained for.

Then you will have to pay to have it modded, which will run you upwards of $50-$70 including shipping back to you.

In my opinion you should just sell your XBox, and put that money toward a new premod. The thing with the XBox is, it really doesnt matter what version it is or how old it is. Its like a computer and the parts are so easy to get a hold of for very reasonable prices, and PS2 parts are expensive.

I woudent pay anymore than $200 for a modded PS2, and your XBox is worth more than that and im sure its got some special stuff that helps bring it some extra value.

well this is just a spare xbox i have, and for one i will install the mod myself (id rather do it myself than have someone do it, just the way I am)
