OK.......Lots & lots of posts about the failed V9s. Can all you installers etc please start posting to this thread when you mod a V9 & it works (for more than 2 hours ;-0) * post the serial number here.
I have a V9 & am starting to get real worried about modding the damn thing.......maybe I should of bought a BillGatezBox!
I have an FBxxxxxx Serial V9 (PAL)
tested it for 4 days solid with low quality media.
Still going strong. I have it for a month now. use it on and off and all is well!
Chipped with Messiah2 1.33b

(ONEOF THE V9s THAT DIED ON ME HAS AN FB SERIAL TOO, STILL WAITING FOR THE OTHER ONE THAT DIED TO BE RETURNED)

Yeah, I have chipped 8 V9s, all with messiah2 1.33b
2 fails so far
had a PS2 V9 w/ DMS3 for a day, just did it new years day morning with a hangover, usin optodisc (i assume low quality) dvd-r media and its still fine.
