wire matter

Ok i just (tried) installed a magic2 to a v7.

I used all the same wire (the ones that came with it).
the unit wont play real dvd games. But will play a PS2 burn, though with much noise from the drive. also the eject button wont close the door anymore.

if i remove the z wire the eject button works but no games will fully load (they will crash)

do i need to replace the 3.3 amd 5 and gnd wirs with thicker wires? is it possible that this would fix my problem?

any other ideas??

also this was my fist time soldering. i think i did a good job but its possible i have a bad connection...

any ideas?
