I was just wondering the Neo USB mod only requires 1 wire to install and i don't want to touch a soildering iron incase i fry my motherboard so was wondering if i could just sellotape the wire to the points and play. All it has to do is touch the two points so why won't it work. Also i don't want the no soilder mod because it does 'nt play 80min cdrs.

Ps I am looking to get the Messiah chip and install it myself do u think its a good idea no soildering skills at all but have steady hands. What do u lot think?

    Any help much appreciated

The tape idea will probably be unstable seeing you really won't have a good soldered connection for current flow.

As for the Messiah, know your limitations and don't be a penny-wise and pound foolish. If you don't want to mess with 1 wire at two easy to do points, then what do you think the odds of your machine working after you try to wade through 23 wires, many requiring they be soldered to teeny-tiny surface mount chip legs?

Seriously - have a professional do it and you won't be kicking yourself in the ass later...
