Has anyone tried or heard if putting the CD coverson where you just press them on with a little stomp tool will hurt your PS2 or your games? I plan on using the Fellowes/Neato ones.
Thanks.

It usualy isn't recommended. It can cause games to be too thick and what not. You are even advised not to put labels on dvds by the dvd manufacturers insude the jewel case sleeve. Some people have no problems though.
I have used a couple on some ps2 dvdr backups and they play fine on my v7 smartchip pro+ modded PS2.
Try it out and see for yourself

Sure it'll work and probably won't cause direct immediate problems... It's the other stuff you gotta worry about... If a disc gets really hot, that cover could start to "blister" I guess is the best way to describe what it looks like... Some DVD-R's your not even supposed to write on let alone stamp on a huge sticker... Could be problematic in the future... I'm sure lotsa people do it with no problems and I'm also sure some people do have problems... Your call... You gotta measure the importance of each side...
Personally I wouldn't put a sticker on a CD, just because stickers have a tendency to peel over time. Imagine if the sticker for some odd reason just peels while the CD is inside the drive, that's a lot of fun to take out of the tray. That's personal experience, BTW. So I wouldn't do it, but in the end it's your call.
I've labeled several games (because I'm tired of having to write on my disks & then shuffle through them trying to find the right game). A properly labeled disk is much easier to distinguish in a 100+ PS2 game collection.
Anyhow, I haven't had any problems YET with labels peeling, bubbling, etc. If you do see signes of trouble, you can always go ahead and reburn your disk. Honestly, by the time my labels start to bubble & peel, it'll probably be at the point where that game is somewhat obsolete and I don't play it anymore.
I used to put Neato labels on all my PSX games, and never had a single problem, although like rsee pointed out, they can often blister/peel.
I really wouldn't reccomend it for PS2 though, unless you have a flip lid. If the stickers are crap, and they bubble and peel, they can often cause some real shit in a slot-feed drive.
got a fellows label on my final fantasy X, no bubbles and it has 50+ hours under its belt. Also what might make a slight difference is the dvd media you use..
if they peel, u might be screwed...
It's not gonna do any real harm, it's just not recommended
