i have a bunch of them, they won't pass the protection because they are just a factory pressed version of burnt discs.

Well actually they are pressed copies on DVD9 disks made on a standard press, copies of DVD9 disks made on a special Sony press that induces the wobble in the lead-in part of the groove. This wobble is the special protection feature..
