I have a heap,so I wanna know if they will work.
    And while I'm at it,what is the difference(physically & modchip compatibility) of a v7 gh019 & a v7 gh022-both PAL units????
    Cheers

I presume you have a heap of 1.08s. They will not work on v8.

Or do you have a heap of v8 PS2s?

    v7 GH-019/GH-022 are comptaible with 1.08.

GH-019 & GH-022 differ physically in the type EDO RAM used.

    v8 GH-019 will work with v1.21 haven't tried 1.08.

v8 GH-022 will work with v1.23 (out this week) but only tested on NTSC. Cautiously optimistic about v8 PAL but needs assurance when they come out. Not seen yet or at least not yet in our hands.

That seems to be a complete answer.

u might wanna stick with the +v point near the centre of the board on a GH022, for some reason when i was using the other point (off the official diags) i kept blowing a fuse but it only seemed to do it on the GH022 and not the 19.

We've done lots of GH-022s using the official points without problem. I advise people to stay with the official points the behaviour of which is known.

    v1.21 works on v7 GH-022 100%.

On v8 GH-022 (currently seen in Asia), v1.21 it works with all but CD-R.
