    Hello all,



    Ok i've removed my Neo4.1 and had the bios track fixed, but can't seem to find the cap I need to finish the job. If i have amagic 3 installed do I still need that cap or can I get around it ????


    any other suggestions ?

    The cap you need has the value of 5.6nF or 0.0056uF. You'll need it for your chip to work properly. See if you can scrounge one from a dud board.

    Ok should the console atleast power on and be able to see anything ? at the moment it powers on and the eject works but nothing on the screen.

    You may need to insert that missing capacitor. From memory, if you don't, then you get the black screen. Its been a while since my NEO 4 days and I can't remember.
