wierd noise comming from laser (not media)

I just tired to install a M2 pro in a V4 and I get a odd rubbing noise comming from the laser. It doesn't matter if its DVD or CDR. I thought it might be the cd/dvd points so I looked them over and re-solderd them but no still no luck.

P.S. games will not boot, cd just spins and makes wierd noises

My cousin have had the same problem, but don't a chip installed.
