I did install a messiah 2 pro in my v3 ps2. When the plastic cover is removed the chip is working properly but once I reassembled the ps2 I got black screen and the eject is not working.

I checked for bridges, I redone the point M,N,O,P and Q,T,U,V,W with new wires, and same problem. Also no wires are pinched when reassembled.

I used 22 awg standard wire for the GND and POWER and for the other 30 awg wire.

Also the chip is powered by the 3.5v shown in the installation pdf and the color fix to the 3.3v. Anyway I measured them and I read 3.45v for both of them.

Any help will be verry appreciated, I'm working on the problem since friday and now it giving me headache.

    Thank you.

Now it's working, I just moved some wires. But a logical explanation would be appreciated anyway.

i had a similar problem with a messiah clone ... Im not 100% sure but its possible some of the components or solder points were touching the metal casing... as soon as coverd all exposed points/components on the chip it went away and worked perfectly. It worked fine with case unscrewed but soon as it was screwed together it wouldnt work....

Another reason could be you may need to just touch the legs on the bios chip just to remelt any solder as they couldve become dry jointed if you have redone the bios wires a couple of times with de solder braid etc....

Yeah that seems to be the case....when the barrier was put back on, the wires solder points may have bended towards other solder points

When you moved some wires, that was probably prevented
