no....sorry.....it is only for backups, homebrew and any region games that is original.

alas I don't think I have a 816 chip , more like a 650 one, do I remember correclty? I got it installed after Mars507 IIRC because it was freezing in some games like "The Suffering" ... IIRC it was just released in 2002/2003 ?

yes it was released on may 2003....cause numerous consumers including installers was getting some problems with the ps2's newer titles to run on the action mars, when they released the 805 and 816...it made history that year cause it corrected alot of problems and some wiring diagram mistakes too.

Yes, it should be, with 700xx being v12/v13 and 770xx being v15.

you watch at board type.....not model number.

but the SCPH number can give a clue as to what board is in the system.

Lets say for example, my v7. It has 3 common boards that can be in it. Mine is a GH-022, but it could also have a GH-017, or a GH-019.

Versoin 1 systems have a GH-004 and I'm not sure on the rest. At the very least, it can narrow down the possible results. That's why we watch numbers.

you still don't get it......version 7 is version...yes i know it have three types of boards.......but the modchip points is still the same.....7500x series is same model but different boards and points.......observe first before commenting plz.....:rolleyes:
