Who give 3 month/90day worrenty on ps2 when modded?????????????

I found a moder who will mod my ps2 slim (70012) but he will only give me 3month/90day worrenty if i can backup what i had told him. which is nowadays modders give 3 month/90days worrenty on there works on ps2 slim.

please provide the link to peoples who mod ps2 with 3month/90days worrenty.

P.S, any body know what is the worrenty on tony's and dudebig's ps2 modding?

By the way will i still be able to use my Max Memory 16MB on my ps2 if i get my ps2 moded with magic kx slim chip?

Seriously, if it is my soldering that is the problem, just send it back and I'll fix it for free, just pay for actual shipping cost. But if it's Sony's hardware that's failing (laser) then there's nothing much I can do except install new laser or replace hardware for you.

hahaha so true even though the laser failing is caused by the modechip which has someting to do with the modding, that is way there are fixs out there.

anyway. this thread is closed, i found the person who will do my with matrix for about $86 with shipping and 3 month worrenty.

normaly Installer give worrenty only for job he did, and not for all PS2 .

Prechipped = guarantee on the whole console
chipping = guarantee on chip & install only, so if laser goes customer should exchange with $ony after uninstall

a real installer is expert enough to determine if the ps2 is in good shape and give at least 2 weeks warranty on old consoles and 3 months on new :P
and if the console is bad, advise against chipping.

that way customer is aslways happy and brings maaaaany friends

Why should installer put warranty on the modchip? We didn't make it =/.

T07N, fully understand what your saying there, however somebody may believe that the person that install/sold the modchip to the final customer should be the one who puts the warranty on the modchip if it fails, because without the modder, the end customer wouldn't have their system modded in the first place. In a case like that then, you would need to get a hold of the place where you, the modder, then bought the chip from, and ask for a replacement. I do agree with you however.
