Who can tell me is it the time to mod PS2 silm?

I have my ps2 silm for only few days. Have mod one use pic and 1n4148 fix, but fault in laser head. Am i need to wait longer until there is a best way to sort out the problem?

try summon's fix its the most effective one around

summ0ne's fix with pic fix is the best way to go but summ0ne's fix is fine by its self
