damn those are some cheap mods. anyone ever bought anything from this web site before?
if they are clones, they will work just the same as the "real" magic chips, the only thing with clones is you get no gameshark support. If that means anything to you. THe point of getting a clone is because they are cheaper, those seem way too expensive for a clone, but about right for the real magic 2's. If you want a cheaper chip, get the M clone, and shop around for a better price, if you want the real thing, pay up and get a magic 2.
actually... those prices seem about right for a magic 2 clone. I picked up a few for $24 each, but they were on sale. Only thing is, that the next gen chips are all going to be about that price, and much better.
how many times do u think I can rewire my playstation before it explodes? Because if new chips come out that are better, I'm breaking out the iron
We rewire all the time as review chips go in and out! We'll have to do them again on the seventh occasion we reckon.
yeah, most likely, you won't have to resolder a lot of the wires on the actual ps2 main board, because they will be the same... When the next gen chips come out, I am expecting and hoping the clones will drop in price. Their only other choice is probably to just go away.
