What's wrong ?? –

The problem is when i try to boot dvd games, When my machine i cold it works fine(sometimes..) but after a few hours of gaming the ps2 starts to make clic noises and even worse the game will stop, often when there is a cgi scene with audio the sound repeats itself over and over. It has been like this since day 1.I have tried lots of different media with no luck. i also have a old ps2(V3) with a messiah chip, even if its old this machine plays my backup games way better than my new. I have a Ripper gold chip installed in my new ps2(v9 or10). The guy who sold me told me he could replace my laser and that this would do the trick, but since i now feel that i have lost 430$ for my premodded ps2 i am gettin sceptical to giving another 100$ for a new laser.
You guys are the experts, will a new laser solve my problems or should i just buy a new pstwo from a different "chipper"?

Can be a heat problem of the LA chip / System.. sound loops are stange.. ??
And laser dont sound healty..
Laser calibration might fix that.. not 100% but a better working laser..
Try to have it on with the window open, and the ps2 near the window.. for ventilation.. try to play for some hours.. or let it be on some time
If this helps get a extra fan for the ps2..
