Its a V4R, V5 or V6. Mind getting me the Number that begins with PTxxxxx. And check to see if there is a screw in the expansion bay.

Also provide the PT# and the date code to know what exactly is the version as Necro indicated that it could be any of the above 3. with PT# and date code u should be able to tell the exact version.

If it doesn't have a third screw in the expansion bay, then it's definately a v4R. If it does, then it's either a v5 or v6. To be sure if it's a v5 or v6 you need to open up your console and find what bios# it is. if the end is 050, it's a v5, if 060, it's v6.

    Wrong, if its a 050 or a 060 its a v7. v4R v5 and v6 are all 040. The v5 to v6 is the B100x0 number, x is 5 its a v5, x is 6 its a v6.

Thats a V4r, but check the expansion bay, see if theres a screw, still could be a v5. Why dont you just open it!

Could confuse since the bios version is also written in that form.
