Whats the difference between the Duo2 and the Duo2SE?

Their website says the same thing for boot modes. Is the SE just a bit more stable? Whats the difference?

the Duo2se has updated code, and has 1 less point to solder on v9/v10 (was only a jumper to ground anyhow) and Is much more stable in v9/v10 also.

You should've learned this from ATi and nVidia Video cards

Special edition???

It does not even stand for special edition!!!

It stands for 'SECOND EDITION'

And another reason for the change over was the fact that the Duo2 was cloned and some VERY
nice clones were released of it!

I have someone who is selling quantities of 100 DUO2 chips for quite cheap, do you think it's worth buying these old chips? Was there ever anything wrong with them?

If they arent clones then they should be good. But there were clones circulating that were horrible.

I can get a duo2 clone for $12 is it worth it to install?

I recommend getting it from worldmodchips. They aren't that hard but v1's can be quite difficult to install. You might want to use alt points too. I hope this helps.

It'll give you more trouble than the one that cost couple more bucks.
