whats the diffence in crystal chips

ive decided to get a Crystal Chip for the auto patching mostly. what are the differences in 1.1 1.2 and lite versions?

i want to backup my online games, damn kids are destroying them.

i dont plan to use a harddrive, dont plan on using it for music or videos.

Just that they flash faster. 1.2 flashes faster then the 1.1
