whats the best MOD chip out

Hi all my name is bobby and I hope I am posting this in the right section.

Ok guys I just bought the ps2 (usa) I have been doing a lot of research trying to find out what is the best mod chip out there for my playstation two.
this is the model of what I have:
NTSC SCPH 39001

thats what I wrote down form the back of my playstation 2. I did some search of it and I saw messiah and so many others.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I want to copy all the playstation 2 games and be able to play them.

I am very catious and thats why I am looking for a place where I can buy it and also compare it with other mod chips to see which one is the best one. Oh yeah and also which would be the best vendor that I can buy it off from so I dont get ripped.

I do hope there is a wiz out there that can help me with this because after I find out which is the mod chip that is compatable and the best one two then I will need to learn how can I do the backups from dvd to cdr and dvd to dvd format.

Being u have the 39001 i would suggest Magic II, works great. I don't believe a Messiah is compatible with tha v7. I would also suggest Modchip.ca, very fast service and I've had no problems with them at all. The problem with the Magic II is a pretty hard install, but u can have somebody do it from around $50. Hope This helps?
