What a terrible new board (Gh-051-01)...

Today I had the chance to install a chip in the new board GH-051-02
and I noticed the missing bios bads.
This forced me to solder all little bios points with wires,
instead of the quick way of octapus3d, mini...

I think it is the time to stop installing mods in pstwo.
Else a quick solder way should come up soon,
cause christmass time is coming....

PS2 modding will still be alive for a while.. at least couple years...

alot of people (me for example) didnt get a PS2 until recently because the price wasnt worth it before.

You can get a PS2 for like 30$ now.. and it has some amazing games everyone should play...

God of war
Metal Gear Solid
Ratchet and Clank
Jak and Dexter

lots of really good awesome games. And im personally aint shellin out 500$ for a PS3... not until its down to at least 200$ which wont happen for like 3 years or something. Plus I can only imagine how much PS3 chips will cost... and how about Blu-Ray burners? they are like 1000$ and media is like 20$... so there wont be any backing up/modding of PS3s for a loong time. Even if they come out with a chip soon the price of a backup wont worth it.

So PS2 will be alive for a long time...

I didn't say that PS2 will stop selling,
but simple that I will stop installing modchips in 77xxx consoles...

i am wondering why there isn't any chip that has quicksoldering from the top of the bios chip...that would be very nice
