Ok fellas thanks for helping me out earlier but now my friend wants a chip as well and I dont know how to identify what he has or shall I say what model he has. this is his info

can you tell me what model it is and if the magic 2 chip will work as well.

hello its either a v5or v6 there the same board it just one the ribbon plugs were put the ther way (up side down)???
dunno why i think it was to stop the no solder mod not to sure

anyways the mc2 will work on these ps2 version
